Happy Saturday everyone!

These are my go to breakfast for most of the occasion. Friends who stayed over the night at my place already know my traditional American pancakes. Fluffy, delicious pancakes is a nice thing to have in the early morning. But the most exciting bit is decorating them with all the things I have at home.

  • 3 Large Free Range Eggs
  • 115g Plain Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 140ml Milk
  • 1 Pinches Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract

First, separate the egg whites from the yolks and place in separate bowls. Mix the flour, baking powder, milk, egg yolks, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt together in a large bowl. In the separate bowl whisk egg whites until it has formed stiff peaks. After just fold the egg white mixture into the bowl with other ingredients. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a large frying pan and just start cooking.  Cook for about 3 minutes over a medium heat until small bubbles appear on the surface of each pancake, then flip a pancake and cook for a minute or two till golden color. Serve your pancakes stacked up on a plate with a drizzle of maple syrup and any of your favorite toppings.

Have a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!

Love B! x
